Deck overview

This Orzhov tokens deck is helmed by Thalisse, Reverent Medium, whose end-step trigger rewards the number of tokens you created that turn with a growing army of flying Spirits. The deck generates tokens through multiple engines-planeswalkers like Basri Ket and Elspeth, Knight-Errant, spells like Grand Crescendo and Entreat the Angels, and permanents like Twilight Drover and Angel of Invention. It then leverages token synergies: Divine Visitation upgrades every token into a 4/4 Angel, Caretaker's Talent provides card advantage and copying, and Legion Loyalty turns a single attack into a multi-player finish. Drain triggers from Cruel Celebrant and Nadier's Nightblade add incremental reach, while Halo Fountain offers an alternate win condition. The deck plays a midrange value game, building a board state that snowballs over time.
