Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis discard-wheel deck grinds the table with forced discard and punishes both discarding and drawing. Kefka, Court Mage is the early value engine, triggering on entry and attack to make each player discard and drawing per card type discarded. The deck is built to flip into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin - a 5/7 flier that draws cards equal to life opponents lose on your turn - turning pings from Liliana's Caress, Feast of Sanity, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Psychosis Crawler into massive refuel. Secondary paths use wheels like Windfall, Dark Deal and Whispering Madness with Nekusar, Sheoldred, Orcish Bowmasters and Bone Miser. Tergrid, God of Fright and Niv-Mizzet, Parun act as hidden commanders that can steal boards or close games alone.
