Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger aggro and storm list commanded by Bria, Riptide Rogue. The core game plan revolves around deploying cheap, synergistic creatures—such as Stormcatch Mentor, Third Path Iconoclast, and Balmor, Battlemage Captain—followed by Bria, Riptide Rogue to grant the entire board prowess and trigger unblockability whenever noncreature spells are cast. By chaining low-cost cantrips, burn spells, and rituals, the deck rapidly inflates its attackers into lethal, unblockable threats while pinging opponents with Coruscation Mage or generating overwhelming token armies with Stormsplitter. In addition to combat beatdown, the deck features potent backup combo lines including the classic Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal infinite storm loop and Underworld Breach recursion. Supported by protective artifacts like Veilstone Amulet and efficient countermagic, the deck transitions from early resource development into a decisive, table-ending combat assault around Turns 5 and 6.
