Deck overview

This deck executes a focused aggressive strategy powered by Krenko, Mob Boss, aiming to generate an exponential army of Goblin tokens and close the game through overwhelming combat damage or passive group burn. Low-cost ramp and Goblin lords accelerate early development, allowing Krenko to hit the board on Turn 4 with immediate activation potential. Once operational, cards like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Agate Instigator, and Impact Tremors turn each token into substantial direct damage, while Shared Animosity turns modest token swarms into lethal attackers. A secondary Dragon package headlined by Terror of the Peaks and Utvara Hellkite provides alternate late-game threats if token strategies are contained. The deck features respectable reactive defenses in Deflecting Swat and targeted redirection, but remains inherently vulnerable to sweepers and heavy stax due to a lack of proactive taxing effects and an all-in reliance on creature boards.
