Bear Necessities by Tikitrouble

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a Mono-Green tribal stompy strategy designed to overwhelm opponents with enlarged Bears and massive creature swings. The game plan focuses on casting efficient Bears early, using Beorn's combat trigger to convert key utility creatures into Bears, and drawing cards once three Bears are assembled. The deck leverages high-impact card draw engines like Tribute to the World Tree, Garruk's Uprising, and Guardian Project to maintain continuous gas. Victory is achieved through explosive combat finishers including Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and End-Raze Forerunners, which grant trample and astronomical power buffs to trample over opposing defenses for lethal damage.
