Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet Spellslinger Storm and Combo shell built around Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards in a four-player game. This massive card velocity fuels an immediate storm turn where you chain low-mana cantrips, mana rocks, and protection spells, burning out the entire table while growing Vivi to lethal proportions. Backing up the primary storm engine is an infinite combo utilizing Splinter Twin on Divining Duelist to create an arbitrarily large army of hasty 3/2 Merfolk Wizards. Supported by flexible interaction, cheap hexproof protection, and redundant spell recursion through Underworld Breach and Past in Flames, the deck presents lethal wins reliably on Turn 4 with zero response cycles.
