Deck overview

This mono-blue deck commands Fblthp, the Lost as a low-cost card-drawing engine and value piece. Rather than pursuing high-power combo lines, the deck focuses on classic blue control and tempo. It chains cheap cantrips like Ponder, Preordain, and Brainstorm to smooth its early mana and sculpt its hand. In the midgame, it converts consistent card draw into board presence using scaling token generators like Ominous Seas, Homunculus Horde, and Chasm Skulker, or direct group life loss with Psychosis Crawler. Defensive interaction includes spot removal like Pongify, versatile counterspells, and asymmetric board resets such as Whelming Wave and Evacuation. The deck gradually overwhelms opponents with card advantage and evasion lands like Access Tunnel and Rogue's Passage, providing a resilient and cohesive casual control experience.
