Siren by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Siren/Pirate tribal-control hybrid helmed by Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel, a flash flyer that draws a card on combat damage and, once charged with four chorus counters, lets you cast the discarded card for free. The deck blends a low-to-the-ground evasive flyer beatdown plan with a dense counterspell/bounce control suite and a top end of game-ending blue haymakers: Hullbreaker Horror, Omniscience, and the Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur cycle. The primary path to victory is grinding out incremental damage with flying Sirens while denying opponents with counterspells and bounce, with the Hullbreaker Horror + two mana rocks infinite-mana loop as the fastest deterministic line. Secondary wins come from overwhelming card advantage via Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur and Nezahal, Primal Tide, or a resolved Omniscience. Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator in the 99 provides treasure acceleration alongside the pirate subtheme.
