Kefka, Madness Upon Us (Old, Sold) by Nivosus

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis spell-slinging combo deck that treats the commander as a card-advantage engine rather than the combo piece. The primary game plan is a compact Thassa's Oracle kill, using Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to exile the library, with Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Wishclaw Talisman, and Lim-Dul's Vault assembling the two cards. Underworld Breach + Brain Freeze and Dualcaster Mage copy loops are real backup wins. Vivi Ornitier doubles as a hidden mana/damage engine, especially with Harmonic Prodigy. The back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, turns incidental life loss into draws, but the deck is built to use the front face's discard-draw trigger while it chases one of its compact combos.
