Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Mardu Vampire Tribal Aristocrats and Combo strategy helmed by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever casting cheap Vampire spells, building an aggressive board presence without needing to cast its commander. The deck accelerates mana using efficient rocks, rituals like Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak, and treasure engines. Card advantage is fueled by Skullclamp feeding on 1/1 tokens and engines like Black Market Connections. The primary win condition is a compact infinite life-drain loop pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest, capable of eliminating all three opponents on Turn 4. Backed by top-tier tutors, resilient protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm, and high functional redundancy, the deck presents a fast, lethal clock with multiple independent paths to victory.
