Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic combo engine led by Alaundo the Seer. The strategy accelerates Alaundo into play on Turn 3 using dense 1-mana ramp and pairs him with over twenty redundant untap effects. On Turn 4, resolving Chakram Retriever, Intruder Alarm, or multiple untap spells triggers an explosive chain reaction. Each tap of Alaundo draws a card, suspends a spell, and removes time counters from all previously exiled cards. As spells cast for free, they trigger further untaps, quickly drawing the entire deck. The combo finishes on the same turn by casting Laboratory Maniac with haste and drawing from an empty library. Dedicated protection cards like Shore Up and Magic Damper double as untap triggers to maintain velocity while shielding key permanents. Interaction includes cheap counterspells and flexible bounce, ensuring the combo can resolve through opposing disruption.
