Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue draw-go tempo strategy led by Lyra, Tolarian Archangel. It leverages dense instant-speed card draw, cost reducers, and mana rocks to consistently meet Lyra's threshold of drawing three or more cards in a turn, creating an army of 3/3 flying Angel tokens. Operating largely at instant speed, the deck holds up mana for counterspells like Cancel and removal like Pongify, pivoting into card advantage spells such as Brainsurge and Thirst for Discovery on end steps when disruption is unnecessary. Evasive damage from Angel tokens is amplified by anthems like Favorable Winds and Heraldic Banner, while asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade clear opposing ground blockers. Alternate win routes include direct group life drain via Psychosis Crawler and self-replicating creature swarms from Homunculus Horde and Chasm Skulker.
