Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, leveraging a dedicated -1/-1 counter and wither theme to control the battlefield through sustained attrition and aristocrat drains. It accelerates early with efficient green and artifact ramp to deploy Auntie Ool alongside token engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. Distributing -1/-1 counters triggers Auntie Ool, drawing cards when placed on friendly creatures and draining life from opponents when placed on theirs. Powerhouse centerpieces like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Carnifex Demon, and Kulrath Knight lock opposing creatures out of combat while wiping opposing boards. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming token swarms and cumulative drain from Obelisk Spider, Blood Artist, and repeated counter placements.
