Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner commands a mono-blue tempo deck that combines classic Merfolk kindred synergies with spellslinger token generation. Namor creates 1/1 Merfolk tokens whenever you cast a noncreature spell with blue mana symbols, matching the number of blue pips while increasing his own flying power. The deck curves into Namor on Turn 3, then uses low-cost cantrips, interaction, and enchantments to build a wide board of Merfolk. Combat card-draw engines like Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, and Enduring Curiosity keep resources flowing. The deck secures victory between Turns 7 and 8 by using lords like Lord of Atlantis, mass pump from Coat of Arms, or asymmetric board clearing from Raise the Palisade to push through unblockable combat damage. Backed by cheap counterspells and ward protection, the deck applies steady pressure while maintaining control over the stack.
