Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Gruul Stompy list built around an 'Oops! All Creatures' exhibition constraint. Composed entirely of 68 creatures and 31 lands, it leans directly into Nikya of the Old Ways's restriction by omitting all noncreature spells. The game plan focuses on deploying mana creatures on Turns 2 and 3, casting Nikya on Turn 4, and utilizing doubled mana on Turn 5 to cast game-ending behemoths like Avenger of Zendikar, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, and Apex Altisaur. The deck relies on creature enter-the-battlefield abilities for interaction, using cards like Bane of Progress and Kogla, the Titan Ape to remove opposing threats while dominating combat. Because it foregoes instant-speed spells and noncreature draw engines, the deck trades stack-based interaction for raw board presence, trample damage, and aggressive mana doubling.
