Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token and midrange Voltron strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Aerid on Turn 4, generating Heartwood artifact tokens that accelerate mana and fuel artifact synergies. Once assembled, the deck uses Aerid's scaling pump ability alongside evasion equipment like Brotherhood Regalia and Whispersilk Cloak to eliminate opponents through massive flying commander damage. In tandem, artifact burn pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist turn token multipliers such as Parallel Lives and Second Harvest into direct table-wide damage. Power-based draw spells like Return of the Wildspeaker and Rishkar's Expertise replenish the hand by leveraging Aerid's high base power. A strong instant-speed protection suite safeguards the board while the deck executes a reliable Turn 8 finish across two opponent response cycles.
