Deck overview

This deck is a Boros spellslinger and token swarm strategy commanded by Lorehold, the Historian. The primary objective is to ramp into Lorehold by Turn 4-5, unlocking its unique upkeep trigger that allows discarding and drawing a card during each opponent's upkeep. This repeated draw trigger enables the miracle mechanic on opponents' turns, letting you cast expensive instants and sorceries for just {2} mana. As spells are cast and copied, enablers like Young Pyromancer, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Fiery Inscription amass a formidable board of tokens while draining life totals. Combat finishers such as Magmablood Archaic, Practiced Offense, and Thorin's Last Stand convert this wide army into a lethal alpha strike around Turn 8. Supported by robust card selection, flash interaction, and multi-mode protection spells, the deck generates compounding tempo across every player's turn.
