Commander: Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a Treasure Aristocrats engine. It creates Treasure and creature tokens with Black Market Connections, Pitiless Plunderer, Pawn of Ulamog, Ophiomancer and Goldspan Dragon, then sacrifices them for cards and mana. Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder is the sacrifice outlet that grows with +1/+1 counters and threatens a burst finish when it dies and you pay {1}{B/R} to deal damage equal to its power to each opponent. Secondary paths grind opponents with Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Nadier's Nightblade and Mayhem Devil. The hidden commander is Pitiless Plunderer, with Warren Soultrader as the second engine, both turn every death into Treasure and enable the infinite drain loop.
