Deck overview

This Selesnya Voltron deck pairs Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful with Anara, Wolvid Familiar to construct an aggressive legendary-matters combat engine. Yoshimaru enters on Turn 1 and rapidly accumulates +1/+1 counters from a high density of legendary lands, artifacts, backgrounds, and creatures. Once Anara, Wolvid Familiar enters on Turn 4, Yoshimaru gains indestructible on your turn, enabling reckless and lethal attacks into opposing boards. Enhancements like Noble Heritage, Blackblade Reforged, Flowering of the White Tree, and Flaming Fist inflate Yoshimaru's combat stats to eliminate opponents via commander damage starting on Turn 5. The deck maintains battlefield control through asymmetric wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast and protects its offensive turns with Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar and targeted defensive instants. While vulnerable to exile effects and multi-turn table exposure, the deck delivers rapid single-target lethality and steady mechanical synergy.
