Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya go-wide strategy commanded by Kudo, King Among Bears. Kudo sets the base power and toughness of all other creatures to 2/2, turning every creature into a Bear. The deck breaks parity on this symmetrical effect using +1/+1 counter engines, tribal Bear anthems, and token multipliers. By buffing its own creatures with cards like Flowering of the White Tree, Cathars' Crusade, and Ayula, Queen Among Bears, the deck turns small tokens into massive threats while keeping opposing creatures constrained to 2/2 base stats. The deck also includes a compact two-card infinite combo between Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Scurry Oak, which creates arbitrarily large numbers of Squirrel tokens and an arbitrarily large creature. Supported by efficient Selesnya ramp, card-draw engines, and solid board protection, the deck reliably establishes threatening boards by Turn 4 to 5 and closes games through decisive combat steps.
