And My Axe! by cvance2388

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Thorin Oakenshield. The plan is to establish an enduring story (three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas), suit a legendary Dwarf-ideally Thorin-with dense Equipment, and close via commander damage or overwhelming combat. Thorin Oakenshield is a cheap 2-mana body with trample whose Storied ward blanket protects the board once the story is online; he is a strong carrier but not a tutor or draw engine. Secondary paths include go-wide Dwarf beats amplified by Fiery Emancipation, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Dain of the Ancient Halls, plus Equipment value from Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Hammer of Nazahn. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through combat inevitability and Equipment-backed pressure.
