Auntie Ool, rework1 by Mintsauce

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund build is a -1/-1 counter value engine with a compact, tutor-able combo finish. Auntie Ool, Cursewretch is the draw-and-drain commander: every counter placed either draws a card for you or costs an opponent life, while ward-blight discourages targeting. The hidden commander is Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, whose Snake tokens turn every -1/-1 counter into a blocker, a sacrifice, and a trigger source. The primary plan is to generate tokens and card advantage through Hapatra, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses; the backup is the Mikaeus + Devoted Druid + Quillspike loop that makes Quillspike arbitrarily large and wins over three attack steps, with Blood Artist/Obelisk Spider draining along the way.
