Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Sultai graveyard combo strategy helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing self-mill engines, and deploying Teval to turn graveyard churn into land acceleration and an army of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens. Once the graveyard is stocked and key sacrifice outlets like Phyrexian Altar or Altar of Dementia are active, the deck closes the game via compact infinite loops involving Gravecrawler and drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or The Meathook Massacre. Alternate win conditions include Protean Hulk piles, infinite self-mill via Aphetto Alchemist and Mesmeric Orb into Dread Return, or explosive overrun turns with Craterhoof Behemoth and Rise of the Dark Realms. A robust suite of protection spells and reanimation tools ensures exceptional resilience against removal and counterplay.
