Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan combo-engine list commanded by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. The core game plan focuses on utilizing Tayam's static counter placement and activated ability to convert mana and counters into recursive graveyard reanimation. By ramping aggressively on turns 1 and 2 with mana dorks, the deck establishes Tayam on turn 3 and seeks to assemble game-ending loops on turn 4. The primary win condition utilizes Devoted Druid enhanced by Centaur Garden to produce infinite mana and counters, allowing Tayam to mill the entire library and reanimate drain creatures like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat for an immediate table kill. Supportive hatebears and instant-speed interaction protect the setup and disrupt faster opponents. Even if the primary combo is delayed, secondary token generators and planeswalkers provide robust midrange resilience and alternative combat paths to victory.
