Deck overview

Sliver Hivelord is a five-color tribal beatdown deck. The primary plan is to develop a dense board of cheap Sliver lords, then keep it alive with Hivelord's indestructible blanket and break symmetry with mass sweepers. Secondary paths are a poison clock from Virulent Sliver and a cascade of card draw from Dormant Sliver and Distant Melody; there is no hidden commander and no infinite combo. Hivelord is an enabler that converts the deck's many sweepers into one-sided resets and makes combat attacks much safer. The deck wins by turning a wide, pump-enhanced Sliver team sideways, usually after tutoring for haste and evasion.
