Deck overview

This is a five-color combo-control deck built around Child of Alara as a recursive safety valve rather than a centerpiece. The primary game plan is to assemble an infinite damage loop using an indestructible creature (Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, Phyrexian Vindicator) paired with Guilty Conscience or equipment like Blazing Sunsteel/Fiendlash, then redirect all damage to opponents. The deck also leverages a robust reanimation package (Reanimate, Victimize, Doomed Necromancer, Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer) to recover from wipes, and a dense suite of protection spells (Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, Kaya's Ghostform) to shield the combo. Child of Alara itself is a one-sided board wipe when it dies, but the deck does not rely on it; the combo lines live entirely in the 99. Secondary win conditions include commander damage via Yahenni, Undying Partisan or a Voltron-adjacent kill with With Great Power . . ., but the primary path is the infinite damage loop.
