Deck overview

This deck is a Bant synergy and stompy deck commanded by Kellan, the Kid. It capitalizes on mechanics that cast spells from non-hand zones—such as Adventure, Foretell, Plot, Cascade, Discover, and top-of-library effects—to trigger Kellan and deploy additional permanents or lands onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. The mana base and ramp suite feature cost reducers like Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius and Sage of the Beyond alongside reliable land-fetch spells. Once the engine is established on turn 4, the deck generates compounding card flow and mana velocity through engines like Vega, the Watcher and The Reality Chip. On turns 6 and 7, the deck pivots into an overwhelming board state using cascade bombs like Apex Devastator and Quandrix, the Proof, finishing games with a lethal combat swing powered by Craterhoof Behemoth or wide stompy pressure.
