Deck overview

This deck aims to cast Kaalia of the Vast quickly, protect her with haste and hexproof equipment, and attack to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage powered by devastating combat triggers from threats like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Aurelia, the Warleader for additional combat phases. Secondary win paths rely on locking down opposing boards using Avacyn, Angel of Hope paired with damage-based sweepers, alongside disruption engines like Archfiend of Depravity and Valgavoth, Terror Eater.
