Deck overview

This Simic deck centers around The Astonishing Ant-Man, an efficient two-mana commander that gains +1/+1 counters whenever you draw cards and removes those counters to spawn a swarm of 1/1 green Insect tokens. The strategy accelerates through early mana dorks and land ramp, then deploys synergistic draw engines and counter multipliers such as Branching Evolution, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and Skullclamp. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled on Turn 4 to 5, the deck transitions into game-ending threats on Turn 6. Finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Herald of Secret Streams convert the insect army into an unblockable or trample-fueled table kill. As an alternate win condition, the combination of Wizard Class at Level 3 and Fathom Mage draws the entire library directly into Thassa's Oracle.
