Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-blue artifact deck commanded by Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor. The primary strategy leverages Lady Octopus's low mana cost to enter the battlefield on Turn 1 and rapidly accumulate ingenuity counters through regular draw steps, instant-speed cantrips, and proliferate effects. Once charged with 4 or more counters, Lady Octopus taps to cheat massive, high-impact artifacts into play without paying their mana costs. Key cheat targets include card engines like Coveted Jewel and Mystic Forge, alongside formidable win conditions such as Triplicate Titan, Steel Hellkite, and Cyberdrive Awakener. The deck supports this aggressive deployment with untap effects, token generation from Sai, Master Thopterist, and evasion via Lockjaw, Slobbering Teleporter. While vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers and lacking dense board removal, it presents explosive midgame combat boards and strong card flow.
