Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control and attrition strategy built around Toxrill, the Corrosive. It focuses on creature suppression, -1/-1 counter synergy, proliferation, and aristocrat drain payoffs. The primary game plan develops mana through lands and artifact ramp to cast Toxrill on Turn 6. Once on the battlefield, Toxrill distributes slime counters at every player's end step, giving opposing creatures -4/-4 per turn cycle. This wipes opposing utility creatures and generates a swarm of 1/1 Slug tokens. The deck translates this board control into victory by draining opponents with cards like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats, or by attacking with Toxrill and its token army.
