Deck overview

Sanar, Innovative First-Year heads a dedicated combo shell built around an extreme ninety-seven land configuration. Because the ninety-nine card deck contains only two nonland cards, Sanar's Vivid ability is guaranteed to reveal the entire library on turn five and exile both Curiosity and Magmakin Artillerist. On turn five, you cast both exiled cards for four mana and deliberately keep your hand full. On turn six, you draw for turn, skip playing a land to hold eight cards, and move directly to your cleanup step. Discarding a basic land triggers Magmakin Artillerist to deal damage to each opponent, which triggers Curiosity to draw more cards, sustaining an infinite cleanup damage loop that wins.
