New Untitled Deck by user1039307

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu "cheat-into-play" strategy helmed by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan is to deploy Kaalia early, protect her, and use her attack trigger to put high-impact Angels, Demons, or Dragons from hand onto the battlefield for free. The deck is packed with explosive threats like Master of Cruelties, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Doomsday Excruciator, and includes extra-combat cards (Aurelia, the Warleader, Overpowering Attack) to chain multiple Kaalia triggers in a single turn. A secondary win layer is the "one-shot" from Master of Cruelties plus a follow-up attack, while Warstorm Surge and Dragon Tempest provide additional reach. The deck leans heavily on the commander to function; without Kaalia, the high-CMC creatures are difficult to cast, making her protection and haste enablers critical.
