Deck overview

Led by Falco Spara, Pactweaver, this Bant midrange deck leverages +1/+1 counter distribution, counter doubling, and proliferation to construct an overwhelming board presence while generating steady card advantage. The strategy focuses on establishing early ramp and counter enhancers like Hardened Scales, Brokers Ascendancy, and Kami of Whispered Hopes before resolving Falco Spara on Turn 4. With shield and +1/+1 counters acting as a renewable resource, Falco turns the top of the library into a virtual hand extension, accelerating board development and digging toward key payoffs. The deck reaches critical onset on Turn 6 by scaling massive creatures alongside evasion enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams, Champion of Lambholt, and Kodama of the West Tree, or by clearing opposing blockers with Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye. A robust suite of efficient counterspells and protective instants like Heroic Intervention and Ripples of Potential shields the board as it closes games via combat by Turn 8.
