Deck overview

This deck leverages Smaug the Impenetrable as an explosive mana engine that turns self-inflicted noncombat damage into an overwhelming horde of Treasure tokens. By ramping early through artifacts and treasure-looting spells, the deck deploys Smaug on Turn 5. On Turn 6, it casts mass-damage sweepers like Blasphemous Act or targeted self-burn like Cut Propulsion to trigger Smaug, netting 13 to 16 Treasures while simultaneously wiping the board. These Treasures immediately feed aristocrat drain pieces like Mirkwood Bats and Marionette Master, or power massive game-ending spells like Exsanguinate to eliminate the table by Turn 7. If Smaug is detained, the deck transitions smoothly into broad Dragon combat backed by Wrathful Red Dragon and Cavern-Hoard Dragon. Its main vulnerabilities are instant-speed exile removal, anti-artifact stax, and a total absence of stack interaction.
