Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger reanimator strategy centered around Magar of the Magic Strings. The game plan revolves around discarding or entombing high-mana instants and sorceries, animating them face down as 3/3 creatures with Magar, and granting them evasion to connect in combat. Upon dealing combat damage, these creatures cast free copies of devastating spells such as Rise of the Eldrazi, Breach the Multiverse, Savage Beating, and Blood for the Blood God!. The list provides ample evasion enablers like Access Tunnel, Key to the City, and Bedlam to ensure combat damage lands reliably. While the deck boasts immense ceiling potential through chained extra turns or combats, its primary vulnerabilities stem from a low density of discard outlets to bin expensive spells, as well as the fragility of 3/3 creatures without built-in ward or hexproof protection.
