Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages impulsive draw and exile synergies centered around Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost ramp and playing Gwen on Turn 2 to bank an exiled card. On Turn 4, five mana transforms Gwen into Ghost-Spider, a 4/4 with flying, vigilance, and haste that accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever cards are played from exile. Ghost-Spider can convert counters back into fresh exiled cards, sustaining a high-velocity impulse engine. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal Voltron pressure using damage multipliers like Jeska, Thrice Reborn, Duelist's Heritage, and Temur Battle Rage to eliminate opponents with commander damage across consecutive turns. A dense suite of free and efficient protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Boros Charm, safeguards the commander against disruption, while alternate threats like Laelia, the Blade Reforged and Bonehoard Dracosaur ensure steady midgame redundancy.
