Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator and Zombie tribal engine piloted by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Hashaton converts creature discards into 4/4 black Zombie token copies for {2}{U}, allowing the deck to cheat high-mana threats into play early. Supported by an array of low-cost looting creatures like Psychic Frog, Thought Courier, and Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator, the deck quickly fills its graveyard and creates threatening token copies of bombs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Hullbreaker Horror. It controls opposing boards via asymmetric -1/-1 counter distribution and forced sacrifices while assembling lethal combat damage and drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim, The Scarab God, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. With direct reanimation spells like Reanimate and Living Death as backup, the deck maintains high resilience against removal, though it requires careful mana management across its three colors.
