Smaug's Treasure by user7468635

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rakdos treasure Dragons. Primary plan is to ramp with Strike It Rich, Mind Stone, Magda, and Fable, cast Smaug the Impenetrable on time, then use his indestructible body to absorb burn spells such as Pestilence, Lightning Bolt, and Self-Destruct, converting each point of noncombat damage into Treasures. Those Treasures feed Mayhem Devil, Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Alchemist's Talent, and Hellkite Tyrant. Secondary paths are Dragon combat with Goldspan Dragon and Lathliss, plus Magda-tutored artifacts. There and Back Again creates a Smaug token that dies into fourteen Treasures. No hidden commander; Smaug the Magnificent and Smaug, Wicked Worm are support pieces.
