Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Temur wheel and token swarm strategy led by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Xyris deployment on turn 4, followed immediately by casting mass-draw spells such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune, or Reforge the Soul. Because Xyris generates a 1/1 green Snake token for every card an opponent draws beyond their first per draw step, a single 7-card wheel across three opponents generates 21 Snake tokens while fully replenishing your hand. The deck converts this instant army into table kills either immediately through ETB pingers like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, or on the following turn through massive combat multipliers including Shared Animosity, Coat of Arms, and Craterhoof Behemoth. A robust suite of cheap counterspells and protection spells safeguards the combo turn against sweepers.
