New Untitled Deck by enicholson123t

Format: Commander

Commander: Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student fronts a Simic control shell that aims to draw three cards in a turn, flip into Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar, and use her -3 to recur instants and sorceries. The actual finish is a hidden Polymorph package: Trench Gorger is the only non-commander creature in the library, so Polymorph, Proteus Staff, Synthetic Destiny, or Reweave can convert a token or Tamiyo herself into a trampling 40/40 that exiles most of the deck's lands. The back face is the long-term engine; the front face is a disposable enabler. Both faces matter, but the deck is built around the back face's recursion and the Polymorph cheat, not around Tamiyo as a beatdown commander.
