Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu combat and forced-attrition strategy helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to deploy Isshin on turn 3, followed by high-yield attack-trigger engines on turn 4. Once assembled, Isshin doubles all attacking triggers from permanents you control. This amplifies token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Hero of Bladehold, draw engines like Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant and Breena, the Demagogue, and goad effects from cards like Taunt from the Rampart and the Impetus cycle. Opponents are forced into mutually destructive combat while your token army expands exponentially. A robust spot removal suite keeps key opposing threats in check.
