Deck overview

Ekthi, Contaminator Priest leads an aggressive mono-white Equipment deck that turns every Equipment into an immediate, formidable board presence. By granting all Equipment the living weapon mechanic, Ekthi creates a 0/0 Phyrexian Germ token that receives a +1/+1 Phyrexian anthem upon entering the battlefield. This allows low-cost Equipment with massive stat boosts, such as Colossus Hammer and Wrecking Ball Arm, to instantly create 11/11 and 8/8 attacking threats for minimal mana investment. The deck complements this aggressive token generation with global anthems, keyword sharing through Odric, Lunarch Marshal and Halvar, God of Battle, and decisive combat finishers like Akroma's Will. While the list features high functional redundancy in Equipment and buff effects, it operates without tutors, relying on natural card flow from engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Caretaker's Talent. Resilient reanimation cards such as Brilliant Restoration and Forge Anew ensure the deck can rebuild quickly following opposing sweepers.
