Deck overview

This Gruul deck is an aggressive artifact-synergy and big-mana stompy build commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The primary strategy focuses on deploying ramp and artifact token generators—such as Heartwood tokens, Treasures, and Foods—during early turns to establish an expansive mana base and high artifact count. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Aerid Konstrari, immediately generating an additional mana rock token and establishing a formidable 5/4 flying body. On Turn 6, the deck transitions into critical onset by activating Aerid’s pump ability to swing for lethal commander damage in the air, or by resolving crushing beaters like Craterclaw Colossus, Hellkite Tyrant, and Xenagos, God of Revels. Without dedicated infinite loops or oppressive stax pieces, the list relies on compounding artifact tallies and evasion to eliminate opponents over two combat rotations, closing the game around Turn 8. Support spells provide targeted protection and burst card flow, though the deck remains vulnerable to artifact-focused sweepers.
