Thorin Oakenshield by chickenpie393

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros equipment/legendary Dwarf deck built around turning on Storied with three artifacts, legends, or Sagas, then suiting up evasive attackers with cheap Equipment. The primary plan is a voltron kill via equipped legendary Dwarves, often finished by Super State turning one hit into 21 damage to all opponents. Secondary paths are token pressure from Fili and Dwarven Shortsword plus the extra combat from Aurelia, the Warleader. Thorin's main role is granting global ward {1} through Storied; there is no double-faced commander or hidden commander. The deck draws heavily off equipment/Dwarf triggers, accelerates with treasures, and protects its key pieces with Mithril Coat and Boros Charm.
