Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet combat tempo list led by Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Feywild Visitor. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive attackers early to secure repeatable card advantage through combat-damage draw engines like Curiosity Crafter and Enduring Curiosity. Once Karlach enters the battlefield, every attack phase is duplicated, untapping all attackers and granting first strike. This doubles the production of 1/1 flying Faerie Dragon tokens from Feywild Visitor while digging deep into the library for answers. The generated Dragons trigger explosive direct damage when paired with Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, converting wide evasive attacks into quick table eliminations. Premium fast mana and free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship ensure that the deck can develop quickly while fiercely protecting its commanders and combat steps.
