Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Dimir Zombie tribal aristocrats strategy commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The game plan revolves around generating a high volume of Zombie tokens, sacrificing non-decayed creatures to create decayed tokens, and converting those deaths into continuous card advantage. The deck ramps during the early turns with mana artifacts, deploys Wilhelt on Turn 4, and builds a wide battlefield of tribal lords and drain engines such as Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, and Undead Warchief. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages mass reanimation spells like Zombie Apocalypse, Haunting Voyage, and Bloodline Bidding to return entire graveyards to play. It finishes opponents through combined aerial combat via Wonder, massive life loss bursts from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and aristocrat death triggers from sacrifice loops with Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler.
