Alela, Cunning Conquerer by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic Dimir Faerie Tribal tempo-control strategy helmed by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The primary game plan is to leverage Alela's ability to generate a board of Faerie Rogue tokens by casting spells on each opponent's turn. This token army is pumped by Faerie lords (Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, Scion of Oona) while goading key threats to clear combat paths and reduce pressure. The deck operates almost entirely at instant speed, utilizing tribally amplified countermagic (Spellstutter Sprite, Spell Stutter), efficient removal (Faerie Fencing, Deadly Rollick), and premium asymmetric draw engines (Talion, the Kindly Lord, Faerie Mastermind, Kindred Discovery) to maintain absolute control of the game state. It wins through overwhelming combat damage from its evasive swarm, often accelerated by a massive Notorious Throng or an explosive Coat of Arms, embracing a resilient, interactive strategy over fragile combos.
