Doom by Pendragons

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck pilots a Villain-tribal strategy under Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, leveraging the connive mechanic to filter cards, generate +1/+1 counters, and produce incremental value. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Villain creatures, using discard outlets to trigger payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir and Cool but Rude, and building a board that drains opponents through combat damage, direct life loss, and token generation. Secondary win conditions include Living Laser for explosive combat, Radioactive Man for halving life totals, and Cruel Ultimatum for a massive swing. The deck lacks infinite combos and relies on sustained pressure and recursion from Emet-Selch of the Third Seat and Norman Osborn // Green Goblin to grind out victories.
