Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar and plays as a proliferate/planeswalker combo-control deck. The primary plan is to transform Tamiyo by drawing a third card in a turn, then use proliferate effects to rapidly advance her loyalty to the -7 ultimate, which draws roughly half the library. That mass draw is converted into a table kill by Psychosis Crawler, which drains each opponent for every card drawn, or by a post-ultimate Windfall off a massive hand. The deck also carries backup self-mill win conditions in Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, plus a suite of extra-turn spells to accelerate and protect the finishing sequence. In the midgame, planeswalkers such as Teferi, Master of Time, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and Narset, Parter of Veils provide card advantage and control while Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant and Hullbreaker Horror dominate the board.
